If you’re a fashion fanatic, I’m sure you’re familiar with Paris Fashion Week. Semaine de la mode de Paris or simply, Paris Fashion Week, is a week dedicated to fashion designers, who present their latest designs. It takes place in various locations throughout the city.
Back with a bang, Paris Fashion Week had us on our toes! Top International designer brands Dior, Chanel, Schiaparelli, and Giorgio Armani Privé displayed their stunning pieces at the Paris Couture Week 2022. The designs were all about style, glamour and grandeur. The poise and beauty of the haute couture this year was simply remarkable! But amongst all the can't-miss looks from the fall/winter 2022-23 collection, was the nine year old's inventive outfits. They were all the midsummer inspiration we needed. North West, might’ve just been the best dressed at Paris Haute Couture Week ’22.
Here's a quick look into why North West is the talk of the fashion industry right now.
Look 1: Jean Paul Gaultier couture show
Twinning with mommy Kim Kardashian West, North dressed up in a pinstriped dress put together by a button-down vest, and a tie while flaunting a French beret. They matched their outfits with oval sunglasses and striking jewellery pieces. As a final touch, the duo added some ‘bling’ to the outfit with nifty nose rings which really completed the look.

Look 2
North West made her first appearance in the City of Lights in her dad’s cobalt blue varsity jacket pulled from the archives of Pastelle, Ye's now-defunct streetwear line from the 2000s. She paired it with chunky black platforms from Balenciaga's collaboration with Crocs, a newer version of Kanye’s BalenciCroc boots, matched with black trousers, a mini handbag, and matching blue shades.

Look 3: Balenciaga show
North West dressed up in a full-sleeved Balenciaga graphic tee for the Balenciaga show, paired with a pair of ripped black jeans. She accessorised her look with a few necklaces, a Balenciaga mini bag, a stunning pair of sunglasses and the house’s infamous Croc platform sandals.

The Paris Fashion Week ’22 which took place from July 4th to July 7th was all things sweet and spicy. Right from Bella Hadid almost missing her show at Couture Week to Kim Kardashian copying Madonna’s scandalous gown. With North West's fabulous fashion outfits, this year’s Couture Week is definitely one to remember!
