The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held each year in Indio, California, is one of the world's largest music events. All plans to stage the festival in 2020 and 2021 were disrupted by the pandemic, but the event returned with a star-studded line-up.
The festival began in October 1999 with a crowd of roughly 20,000 people, however, it failed to produce any money. In 2022, this was not the case. The celebration drew over a hundred thousand people. Passes for the festival sold out within just a few hours of going on sale. Headliners ranged from Harry Styles and Billie Eilish to the Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia.

1. Harry Styles

Harry performed with his childhood idol, Shania Twain, and revealed two songs from his unreleased album. The event also marked the first time the star sang his new song "As It Was" live and opened with the hit single. Styles began his act with a poetic performance of his most recent release and concluded it with a bang with his debut solo song, 'Sign of the Times.'
2. Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish, who made history at the Oscars, made history again this week when she became the youngest performer to headline Coachella. Eilish invited a few special guests to perform with her, one of whom was Khalid. 'Lovely,' the duo's hit song, was performed. Timothée Chalamet and Justin Bieber were among the celebrities in attendance.
3. Swedish House Mafia x The Weeknd

The Weeknd made Coachella history by becoming the highest-paid headliner in the festival's history. For filling in for Kanye West, he was reportedly paid 8.5 million dollars. Kanye West's concert was canceled just two weeks before the show for undisclosed reasons. The rapper was supposed to be the main attraction of the festival. For the Sunday night shows, The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia took his place.
Even if you couldn’t attend the festival, a live stream was streaming on YouTube. Coachella’s official page also broadcasted the live performances on YouTube. Some artists, like Harry Styles, also live-streamed on their YouTube channels for the fans.
