Breakfast made better!

Are you too stuck in a relentless maze of online classes, assignments, tests and exams? And you just want to get out of these shackles which have suffocated and caged you? Well, I just have the thing for you. I cannot promise that it will unbound your shackles, BUT it sure can make you feel happier, lighter and a lot less miserable.

What if I told you that you could have desserts for breakfast. EVERY SINGLE DAY, extremely simple to make AND you do not need to compromise on your health. In fact, these recipes are much healthier than your everyday breakfasts and they boost your health.

Here are some mouthwatering and luscious recipes for a chocolate mousse yogurt, pancake tacos, single serve chocolate chip cookies. All made with flourishing and hearty ingredients that your body will be grateful to consume.

None of these recipes take more than 7 minutes to make, yes I timed them for you!

Recipe 1

Single serve chocolate chip breakfast cookie

2 minutes of blending and mixing and, voila you have the most toothsome and healthy cookie!

Ingredients:

1 cup oats

1 mashed banana

1/2 cup peanut butter

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons cocoa powder - optional- (if you want a double choc cup cookie) Coconut flakes

As many chocolate chips as you desire

The easy part aka the PREPARATION:

Blend 1 cup of oats to create a flour-like consistency, then pour it into a bowl and mash 1 banana. Combine the banana with the oat flour, and add in 1/2 a cup of peanut butter, honey, and baking powder. Mix it till you get a dough-like consistency, then add in your favorite type of chocolate chips. (You can also add cocoa powder for more chocolate). You can have white chocolate chips (my personal favorite), dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, or even grab a bar of your favorite type of chocolate and chop it up. Pop it into the microwave for a minute and serve it with cold milk (which is the best way to have chocolate chip cookies: do not argue with me on that one)

If you prefer to use an oven, bake it at 190 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes.

Recipe 2

Chocolate mousse yogurt bowl

Ingredients:

1 cup of yogurt (Greek/regular)

1 scoop chocolate protein powder- or substitute with:

2 tablespoons cocoa powder

2 tablespoons maple syrup/honey

Toppings:

Fruits

Nuts & seeds

Your favorite cereal/ granola

This is the easiest and quickest recipe, EVER!

You have to grab the yogurt and mix it with the protein powder. You don't have to use the protein powder, because, like me, if you don't have it at your house, you can substitute it with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and honey or maple syrup. Mix this in well with your yoghurt and place half of it in a pretty wine glass (for the aesthetics).

Go crazy with your fruit and granola and place the rest of the yogurt on top, and decorate it with some fruits, seeds and cereal again. Remember, this recipe is customizable to you. You can use your favorite seasonal foods, the freshest most colorful berries, or you can skip the fruit and just add your favorite crunchy cereal. It's completely up to you, you are the artist of this art. Here are some pictures to inspire you.

Recipe 3

2 minute blender pancakes (+ pancake tacos)

Ingredients:

2 cups of oats

2 eggs

2 ripe bananas

2/3 cup milk

1 tbsp honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Salt

Coconut oil

The preparation for this delightful treat:

For this recipe, literally all you have to do is pop these ingredients into a mixer and blend it on high for a little over 30 seconds. Then add the coconut oil onto a band and make these pancakes as fluffy and thick as you like, or as thin as a paper and crepe like. The best part is that you get to top these with absolutely anything you desire. My personal favorite is pouring some maple syrup, smothering some peanut butter over them and adding in sliced bananas, blueberries, pomegranate and a mini cube of butter for the cake of saltiness in these sweet pancakes. Do you know how to make these into pancake tacos? Worry not, I got you. All you need to do is, fold them in half and fill them with the toppings instead!
